Okay, so this is going to be a reviewy type thing of sorts, but seeing as I’m not particularly good as writing reviews of things, it’s going to mostly be a happy rant :P (even though the page still isn’t finished…)
So. Red Dwarf ended an hour and a half ago, but this is the only time I’ve had since then to write about it and all I have to say is smeggin’ hell IT WAS AWESOME.
They’ve totally stuck to the original and haven’t tried to make it all fancy with CG and all that nonsense we have in 2012, it looks like they just carried on from the original series. Seriously though, they don’t even look that much older. You can tell a little; Chris Barrie has slightly less hair and Craig Charles’ looks like he’s gained a teeny bit of weight, but as for Kryten and Cat all you can tell is a bit around Robert’s eyes (I suppose the plastic head helps with that a bit though).
Anyways, without giving anything away, it was wonderful. The theme tune is the same (YES!!) and the credits too. All in all I was more than a little bit thrilled about it and I can’t wait for next Thursday and episode 2!!
